The things every high-achiever should know
In: Diet & Nutrition
19 Aug 2010I’m a firm believer that almost everybody in developed countries have similar gaps in their diet, even people who consume a variety of fresh, whole foods. These gaps are Vitamin D, omega 3s, and probiotics. Each has its own reason for why it’s so difficult to acquire in our daily diet in optimal quantities, but today’s focus will be on Vitamin D.
This excellent presentation on Vitamin D research condenses 4 hours of research and recommendations into less than an hour. The video below is programmed to start roughly 6 minutes into the presentation to skip over unnecessary info about how Vitamin D evolved. Based on the research discussed in the video below, I’m firmly convinced that taking a vitamin D supplement is absolutely crucial for health and well-being, especially in the winter time. It’s almost shocking to see how many diseases can result from sub-optimal vitamin D levels. You will be doing yourself and your health an enormous favor by educating yourself through this presentation. Enjoy!
